About us

We are a Parents and Friends Association dedicated to raising money for St. John's Primary School in Tunbridge Wells. The school is one of the biggest primaries in Kent, and our Head has asked us to fund 24 brand new interactive whiteboards to help with the children's learning.

Their current boards either no longer work, or are so close to breaking down completely, that this is now starting to have a negative impact on lessons. This is a huge project for our small PFA so we need all the help we can get.

What do we want?

We want to buy 24 new interactive whiteboards, they each cost around £2,500. Even if we were able to fund one via Rocket Fund, it would make a huge difference to our mission!

Who is this for?

This is for our whole school, to use across a range of subjects. 650 children will benefit from this project.

Why do we want it?

Please follow this link to a detailed interactive whiteboard presentation: https://primarysite-prod-sorted.s3.amazonaws.com/st-johns-cofe-primary-school-kent/UploadedDocument/47fdf30e5b1c4386b1852a7c2dc9e8d0/presentation-interactive-boards.pdf

Smart MX Interactive boards with software, installation a sound bar and a 5 year guarantee:

24 x £2,500 (+VAT) = £60,000 +VAT

Total = £72,000 (incl. VAT)

We would love to raise enough for even one whiteboard = £2,500.

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, the money would go towards another whiteboard!
