About us

Wheelwright Lane Nursery is a School Governor run Nursery based in Ash Green area of Bedworth, Coventry.

What do we want?

We want to be able to fund a wireless internet connection in our nursery setting because we are lacking in an efficient internet connection.

Who is this for?

The wifi connection will enable staff and nursery children to have access to the internet and provide extensive learning opportunities for the children in the nursery setting and share learning with parents and carers.

Why do we want it?

We believe assessment, particularly in the outdoor learning area, plays an integral part of enhancing each child's development. Assessment is essential for practitioners to be able to plan, scaffold and deliver a child's next steps in learning.

In order to be able to do so effectively, staff require an efficient internet connection which we are currently lacking in both our indoor and outdoor area. A strong internet connection would enable staff to provide unique experiences, catering for each individual child and their needs.

Please help us to raise enough money to be able to fund a wireless internet connection in our nursery setting. If we get more than our minimum target we would love to purchase ICT equipment such as iPads to give children access to a wide range of learning opportunities and start encouraging their skills in ICT, cameras to develop children's ability to take and review photographs and rechargeable cars to help develop those early ICT skills.

1 x Network Point installed in the Nursery @ £247.50

1 x Omni Access AP duel radio integrated antenna AP @ £597.36

1 x iPad @ £299

1 x Sony Camera @ £79.99

2 x 4pk Rechargeable Remote Control cars £124.95 each

Total: £1,474

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy a smart board and network points.
