About us

Princecroft Primary School is a small school located in Warminster, Wiltshire. We strive to provide an engaging curriculum accessible to all students and the use of technology is important in preparing the children for their lives in the 21st Century.

What do we want?

We would like to purchase 10 iPads.

Who is this for?

The iPads will be accessible to all of our pupils and support their learning across the curriculum. We also aim to run workshops so that the teachers maximise the benefits of using iPads across a range of subjects. Everyone in the school community will benefit from them.

Why do we want it?

The digital age will play a huge part in the future of our children. Whilst it changes and updates quickly, we want to be able to give our pupils a solid starting point for the technology they will encounter in their lives. We are a small school with a limited budget and our current iPads are now so outdated that they can no longer be updated, leaving the children unable to access some of the newest apps that could support and enhance their learning. We want to foster their creative instinct, so that they realise the potential for its use, which is greater than playing games and watching YouTube. We would like to introduce class projects that enable them to develop their skills in art, creating films, books and presentations in a variety of applications, our most ambitious project is to have KS2 collaborating and creating an educational app.

10 X iPads; 9.7" (2018) 32GB; @ £285 each

Sub Total = £2,850 (incl VAT* & delivery)

+3% payment processing fees (charged by the payment provider)

Grand Total = £2,936

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy 5 extra iPads so that a class will be able to share an iPad one between two.
