About us

We are a large Primary School in Newport, South Wales. 84% of the children who attend our school speak English as an additional language; additionally 89% of our pupils are classed as coming from a minority ethnic background.

What do we want?

We would like to buy 5 Dash and Dot Coding Robots.

Who is this for?

This is for our whole school, to use across a range of subjects.

Why do we want it?

We are developing the use of computer science across the school. Dash and Dot is a real robot that makes learning to code fun for kids. It responds to voice, navigating objects, dancing and singing. It presents the children with hundreds of projects, challenges and puzzles as well as endless possibilities for freeform plays. It works with Wonder and Blockly apps that feature built-in challenge tutorials that teach children how to programme Dash and Dots from the very beginning.

6 x Dash and Dot Robots @ £154.99

Total = £929.94

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy an additional two Dash and Dot robots.
