About us

Meadowside Academy is part of the Elevate Multi Academy Trust and we aim to provide a creative and captivating curriculum that will inspire our children to reach their full potential.

What do we want?

We would like to buy 7 Raspberry Pi's (we already have 3), 10 monitors (for use with our Raspberry Pi's) with HDMI cables to connect them, 10 keyboards and mice and 3 battery packs so that we can develop our own remote control robots.

Who is this for?

These would be used by Code Club to develop our programming and robotic skills and would be available to be used by all children in the school as a computing resource.

Why do we want it?

As a school we pride ourselves on our cross-curricular approach to learning and the Raspberry Pi's would allow the children to develop projects linking Science, DT, Computing and Maths in an engaging way and exciting way. The Raspberry Pi's can be used in so many innovative ways that the only limit is our imagination.

Total = £1,143.02 (incl VAT & delivery)

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy remote camera attachments and enhanced robot kits.
