Number of students that will benefit: 22

Age of students: 11

Loreburn Primary is situated in the town of Dumfries. We have a school roll of approx. 180 children. Staff work hard to support children with advances in technology but lack of resources in this area continues to be a problem.

What do you want?

An iPad to pilot the use of sharing children's learning with parents through the use of the See Saw app. The iPad will also be used for mental maths and spelling games.

Who is this for?

One class initially.

Why do you want it?

To allow children to engage with parents through technology. Not all parents can attend open afternoons or parents evenings due to work or health restrictions. This would allow children to share their learning with people at home.
