About us

Gorsley Goffs Primary School is located in Gorsley just a few miles from Ross on Wye, Herefordshire.  We have approx. 200 mixed gender pupils.

What do we want?

We would like to buy 4 iPads specifically for reception class children. The iPads will be used to teach literacy and phonics, whilst developing their ICT skills at the same time. The school budget is limited, therefore the PTFA have recently purchased 10 new iPads which will be used across the school.

But hopefully if we are successful this will fund iPads which can be dedicated to Reception class children.

Who is this for?

For the Reception class.

Why do we want it?

IPads in the classroom would really allow the children to show us what they can do and learn - digital artwork, phonic games, online learning in maths, using APPS intended for learning.

This would give them a flying start in their journey to be fully 'digitally literate' and prepared for the world in which they live.
