About us

Tiverton Primary School based in Tottenham, Haringey is a two form entry Primary School. Our school is a warm and friendly community where our children feel happy and secure.

We put great emphasis on mutual trust and respect between children staff and parents/carers; we expect our children to work hard, maintain high standards of self-discipline and courtesy at all times and to enjoy their school life to the full. We endeavour to develop the personal, social and emotional aspects of each individual child in order to achieve a supportive and rewarding learning environment.

What do we want?

To upgrade our computers from Windows 7 to Windows 10

Who is this for?

This is for our whole school to use across a range of subjects.

Expectations are high as Windows 10 represents a major departure from Windows 8, which was not well-received by businesses. Microsoft learned from its mistakes. The new operating system is user-friendly, and offers cross-device familiarity and universal apps.

Why do we want it?

Windows Education offers experiences that save teachers time, so there is more time to drive personalised learning outcomes for our pupils.

It will also allow the school to achieve better outcomes for all our pupils, as we can prepare them for the future with personalised, inclusive, and immersive learning experiences from Windows 10.

Cost of upgrading our existing computer software from Windows 7 to Windows 10

Sub Total = £1350 (excluding VAT)

+3% payment processing fees (charged by the payment provider)

Grand Total = £1390

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy new monitoring screens to replace some of our old ones.
