About us

We are St. Mark's digital ambassadors. There are six of us, 2 from each KS class (Y4, Y5 and Y6).

What do we want?

We would like 15 Chromebooks but to start us off, we will aim for 10.

Who is this for?

The Chromebooks will be used by the whole school, from Y1 to Y6, to use across a range of subjects.

Why do we want it?

We really need the Chromebooks because our current laptops are very slow to load pages, they are old and often broken, so it is difficult to really learn on them. In addition, there aren't enough computers for everybody in the classes so it would be great to have the Chromebooks.

The Chromebooks will solve our problems because they are rapid to load, in good condition and we will have more of them! We will use them for maths and literacy games, coding, science and doing research. We will also use the Chromebooks to access the programs we use in class like Scratch, Purple Mash, Busy Things, Hit the button, J2blast and more.

As we said, we are asking for 10 Chromebooks in the first place, and more if possible.

10 x Chromebooks @ £179 each = £1,790

Total = £1,790 (incl VAT & delivery)

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy 5 more Chromebooks @ £179, so we will ask for an extra £945.

Please help us raise money for our school! It's Christmas soon, and wouldn't it be great to have Chromebooks for Christmas, as they'll make us learn as well!
