Our project: We love making films!

About us

We are a small school in the south of Wilmslow and are very proud of the breadth and depth of our curriculum.

What do we want?

We would like to be able to make better films using the iPads we have in school. We need to be able to record sound more effectively, and we would like to have all our staff trained to use the technology for the benefit of all our pupils.

Who is this for?

This is for all our pupils and staff to use.

Why do we want it?

We love to help all our children enjoy their learning, and we always try our hardest to capitalise on their individual learning styles. We have found that film-making inspires the children to show what they know, helps less confident children to be more assertive, and enables them to work collaboratively to great effect. They also love sharing the end result, even though the sound quality has been poorer than we would wish.
