About us

We are a small, local one form entry Primary School in Basingstoke. We are enthusiastic about teaching and learning and we want to give our children the best possible start in life and encourage them to experience a wider computing curriculum.

What do we want?

Initially, we would love to buy a class set of headphones for the children to be able to access a wider range of computing programs, audio books and story videos on the computers. As well as educational apps which need headphones to enable the children to hear what is being said and allow them to become more interactive whilst working on the computers.

Who is this for?

This is for all the children from Year R to Year 6 and across all curriculum areas, including mathematical games to support the learning of times tables, story books and spelling apps in English, science documentaries and a whole range of computing topics.

Why do we want it?

Being able to purchase some ear phones for the children will help them in so many ways. As we are an open plan school, the noise level can disrupt some of the children's ability to hear the online books being read, the spellings being taught from the spelling apps and lots of other educational games that need sound.
