About us

At Ombersley Endowed First School our children are happy, confident and enthusiastic. Throughout their time at our school we plant the seeds which blossom into a lifelong quest for learning. Our children are at the centre of everything we do. We recognise that all children are unique and we nurture their individual strengths so that everyone feels gifted and talented. We aim to provide a welcoming, safe, happy school where everyone is respected and listened to; a school where we take pride in ourselves and our achievements, enabling children to become confident and successful learners.

What do we want?

We are looking to secure funding to enable us to replace our very outdated robotics equipment so we can bring the joy of programming and robotics to all our children.

Who is this for?

All the children from our pre-school and through the whole school will benefit from this new equipment.

Why do we want it?

An introduction to robotics can teach a lot to children, who will learn to work on a project as a team, grow their creative mind and master new technologies.

The robots provide an engaging, practical learning in mathematics (shape, position & movement, angle, measurement & problem solving). This will impact greatly on the pupils learning and support them to reach their potential in Computing, Maths, Creativity and Social Skills.

Sub total = £1,572  (Inc VAT* & delivery)

+3% payment processing fees (charged by the payment provider)

Grand Total = £1,620

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would like to buy additional Robots and robotic equipment to further enhance our resources.

We would really love to be able to offer our children a robotics experience, to help them to become ready for what they may face in their futures. Please do donate, but if you can't donate right now you can help us in other ways! Share this project with anyone you think would support us. Share the link at the top of the page on Twitter, Facebook, email, your website, blog, mention us in a phone call or even just a chat over the fence! Please support us and help make a difference to our students.
