About us

Meldrum Primary School is based in Livingston, West Lothian and is dedicated to providing the best education to its students from Primary 1 right through to Primary 7.

What do we want?

The Parent Council of Meldrum Primary is focused on helping the children enjoy their outdoor learning, but to do this we are raising funds to build the first stage in an ongoing project to create a fun active outdoor play structure which will be suitable for all ages and skill levels.

Who is this for?

At the moment there is no physical structures for the children of Meldrum to enjoy or help with their outdoor learning. As well as keeping the children active, the structures have great lesson planning opportunities across all years and levels within the school.

Why do we want it?

The school is fortunate enough to have, as part of its grounds, a large playing field. We would like to use a portion of this space and give the students an area where they can use their creativity whilst keeping fit and healthy.

Agility Trail 3 @ £4,000

BloqX1 @ £3,310

Total = £7,310

To help with the fundraising, we run and organise events both in and out of the school for the parents and children of Meldrum, where any money raised goes straight into the funds to reduce the amount required. Any money raised which we raise with your kind support will go towards the above equipment which we are hoping to start building early 2019.
