Our Project

About us

Founded in 1795 and located next to the University of York, Lord Deramore's Primary is a very special school that has gained a well-deserved reputation locally for providing creative, diverse and inclusive education.

What do we want?

We wish to buy a scooter stand to enable children to safely and securely store scooters whilst at school.

Scooters naturally have limited balance and are easily damaged, providing secure storage will provide reassurances to parents that they are protected and easily accessible.

Who is this for?

The scooter stand will benefit the entire school student population.

Why do we want it?

Outdoor learning is a key priority of our school improvement plan and the use of scooters helps us to promote sustainable ways of travelling to school. The creation of appropriate scooter storage will help to facilitate life long learning habits that encourage a healthy approach to travel.

Where your money will go

1 x Double scooter stand and fixing accessories @ £398.64 (Inc VAT)

+ Installation Costs @ £60.00

Total = £458.64 (inc VAT, delivery and installation)
