About us

The Friends and Families of Priory Academy are the Fundraising Committee for the Priory Voluntary Catholic Academy. The school places an emphasis on good quality teaching and learning, where children are provided with a rich, stimulating and relevant learning environment, creating a strong foundation on which future achievements are built.

The Friends and Families of Priory Academy would like to enhance the learning opportunity of pupils by raising money for an interactive classroom board.

What do we want?

We want to purchase an interactive classroom board.

Who is this for?

A single class to be decided upon reaching our goal. Our long term aim is to have a board in every class.

Why do we want it?

An interactive classroom board will help to further enhance the children’s learning experience. The board will aid different learning styles and add further depth and involvement in learning. Interactive classroom boards allow children to interact with the subject matter, imbedding and promoting in-depth learning.

  • 1 x BenQ RM6501K 10 Point Multu-touch Interactive Education Flat Panel Display @ £1,795 +VAT
  • De-installation and disposal of existing projector and whiteboard @ £75

If we're fortunate enough to raise more than our target, then we would also like to buy another screen to get all the classes as up to date as possible!
